RITES FOR MRS. LESLIE FRIDAY
80 YEAR OLD WOMAN DIES AT MCINTIRE FOLLOWING ILLNESSMcIntire – Mrs. Kate Leslie, 80, of McIntire, who had been ill for several weeks, died Wednesday morning at her home here.
Funeral services will be held in the Methodist Church here Friday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the church and at 1:30 p.m. at the home, conducted by the Rev. Mr. Bodenham and the Rev. Mr. Bell, both of Riceville. Interment will be made in the McIntire Cemetery.
She leaves one son Walter of McIntire; two brothers; Chris Dillon of Rochester, Minnesota; and Barney Dillon of McIntire and one sister in Osage.

FUNERAL SERVICES OF MRS. KATE LESLIE IN CHURCH AT MCINTIRE
McIntire – Funeral services were held in the McIntire Methodist Church Friday afternoon for Mrs. Kate Leslie, 80. Burial was made in the McIntire Cemetery
Mrs. Leslie died January 12th following an illness.
She was a member of the Methodist Church, had been president of the Ladies Aid, was a member of the Relief Corp, Royal Neighbors, Rebekahs, and the Order of Eastern Star.

Katherine E “Kate” Dillon was born March 22, 1860 in Iowa, the daughter of Thomas Dillon and Margaret (Duffy) Dillon. (mother and father from 1925 Iowa Census)
She married William Anton Leslie. (his name from Iowa Birth/Christening records for son Walter)
The sister mentioned in her obit is Sarah (Dillon) Boylan.
