Olga Halvorsdatter Brenden was born October 4, 1891 at probably Rock Township, Mitchell County, Iowa to Halvor Olsen Brenden and Jorand Olsdatter Haugen, the last of ten children. She was baptized on Christmas Day, December 25, 1891, at the Rock Creek Lutheran Church, sponsors were Knud Haugen and wife, Ole O. Haugen and Olina Brenden.

1895: 3 years old.

1900: Halvor Brenden 65, Jane Brenden 50, Julia Brenden 16, Sophie Brenden 13, Rady Brenden 12, Olga Brenden 8.

1910: Halvor O Branden 75, Gjoren Branden 60, Olga Branden 18.

Olga married Clarence H. Kirkeby on June 27, 1915. Clarence was the son of Peter Kirkeby and Ella Bratager. The couple had 2 daughters, Ethel and Clarice.
