DEATH NOTICES

Engstrom, Robert Verne, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Verne Engstrom, Schermerhorn Farm, died at a local hospital Thursday night.
Funeral services will be held at the Patterson Funeral Home Saturday afternoon. The Patterson Funeral Home in charge.

In another previous article dated May 7, 1931, talking about the farm, it said that the Schermerhorn Farm was one of the largest dairy farms in the area (around Mason City) and that it was owned by Mrs. Florence Schermerhorn of Minneapolis; Verne Engstrom was the herdsman and Chellis Engstrom was the milk plant manager. The 2 Engstrom boys were the sons of August and Edna Engstrom of Minnesota.

**It is unknown at this time what Barbara Engstrom’s maiden name was.(the wife of Verne)
