Funeral services for Frederich Wilkes will be held today, March 19, 1986, at the First United Methodist Church in Osage. The Rev. James Pittman will officiate and burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery in Riceville. Mason rites will be performed by Osage Lodge No. 102.

Mr. Wilkes was born in Riceville on November 10, 1918, the son of r.J. and Lucille Wilkes. He graduated from Riceville High School in 1937, attended Drqake University in 1938-1939, and was a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity, and also active in college radio dramatics.

He was active in area livestock business for many years. He was a member of the Osage Methodist Church and Masonic Lodge.

Survivors include his sister, Leone (Mrs. Rudy) Doerr and his half brother, Robert J. Wilkes, both of Osage; four nephews and two nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
