ODEGAARD

The entire community deeply sympathizes with Prof. and Mrs. M.R. Odegaard in the loss of their little three year old daughter, Agnes, who died last Friday morning at 11:30 o'clock. Little Agnes was taken ill with what seemed to be merely a simple case of diarrhea a week ago Wednesday. She did not seem to be much sick and a physician was not called until Saturday, when it was discovered that she was a victim of that insidious and deadly disease cholera infantum. She remained very low for a number of days and then gradually seemed to improve until it was hoped and believed that she was out of danger. But alas, such is the deceiving nature of that disease. Friday morning she was suddenly taken worse and later developments indicated that an ulcer in the stomach which had formed during the earlier stages of the disease had broken, and the resulting hemorrhage soon resulted in her death.
