SUCHY, Bill 1911-1986

Funeral services for Bill Suchy, 74, of Mitchell, were held Wednesday at Champion Funeral Home in Osage, with Rev. Charles Bunk officiating. Burial was in the St. Ansgar Cemetery, where military rites were conducted by the VFW Post 7920 of Osage. Mr. Suchy died died on Saturday, February 1, 1986, at his home.

He was born on October 20, 1911 in Mitchell Township, Mitchell County, Iowa, to Lewis and Emma (Lukes) Suchy. He attended St. Ansgar schools and served in the U.S. Army in Europe during World War II from 1942-1945. He was a retired farmer.

An aunt, Minnie Gallgher of Austin, Minnesota, survives.
