Funeral services were held Saturday at 2:00 o'clock at the First Lutheran Church for Ervin G. Olson with the Rev. O.A. Langehough officiating.
Ervin G. Olson, son of Ole and Carrie Olson was born in St. Ansgar, January 18th, 1889 and confirmed in the Lutheran faith on October 5th, 1903. He was a life long member of the First Lutheran Church.
He attended the St. Ansgar Public School and the St. Ansgar Seminary. For many years he practiced the carpenter trade until his health forced him to retire. He had been the assessor in St. Ansgar for the past 17 years.
On the 10th of August 1912, he was united in marriage to Minna Odegaard who survives him.
Pallbearers included: A. Byron Golberg, Dr. R.W. Rogers, George Colbertson, Noris Culbertson, O.L. Mueller and Carl Kittleson.
Burial was in the City Cemetery.
