PETER N. HANSEN, 73, RICEVILLE, SUCCUMBS; LAST RITES ARE HELD

Riceville – Funeral services were held Saturday for Peter N. Hansen from the Shoop Funeral Home at Riceville.

Mr. Hansen, who was 73, came to the United States from Denmark in 1887 and lived on his farm north of Riceville for nearly half a century.

He leaves his widow, one daughter; Miss Mildred Hansen of Austin, Minnesota; one sister; Mrs. Christian Redfield of Wenlock, Washington; and one brother; Hans Hansen of Riceville.

Services were in charge of the Rev. E. Bodenham and burial in Riverside Cemetery.
