MOURN DEATH OF MRS. FRANK HEMANN.

Splendid Mother, In Ill Health Only Few Days, Died Friday, March 4.

It was with a keen feeling of sadness and deep sorrow that relatives and friends learned that Mrs. Frank Hemann had died at her home 4 ˝ mile north and ˝ mile east of Stacyville, Friday morning, March 4, 1927, at 7 o’clock. The cause of death being a severe case of flu, developing into pneumonia. She had not enjoyed good health for several days. Everything possible was done to save her life but it seems that there could be no relief except in death alone and through the mercy of God she was relieved of worldly suffering and care, and her spirit taken back to God who gave it.

The deceased was 33 years, 2 months and 17 days old at the time of death. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Thome of Meyer.

She was united in marriage to Frank Hemann Oct. 14, 1914. To this happy union four children were born - Laura, Rosina, Gertrude and Dorothy.

Her funeral was held Monday morning at 10 o’clock. Services were in Sacred Heart Catholic church at Meyer, Iowa. Rev. Fr. Koch of Johnsburg, Minnesota reading the requiem mass, assisted by Rev. Fr. C.F. Jungemann, the resident pastor. We have been informed that the attendance at the service was very large if not the largest gathering ever in attendance at a funeral in Meyer. The sincere sympathy of all is extended to the bereaved father, children and relatives. … Card of Thanks. We wish to thank the many friends and neighbors for their kind assistance during the illness and at the last sad rites of our beloved wife and mother. Frank Hemann and Children.
