Vivian Cathryn Kapka, daughter of Lily (nee Volbrecht) and Walter Kapka, was born on March 12, 1918. After an illness of several weeks it appeared as if the hopes of her mother were to be fulfilled and that she would recover. But God in his infinite wisdom saw fit to deliver Vivian from all evils by taking her to Himself in death last Saturday. Her brief life was one year, five months and eleven days.

Her body was laid to rest last Monday in the Lutheran cemetery, where she is resting at the side of her father, who it will be remembered died of influenza last winter.

All friends of the family unites in their sympathy with the mother in her new bereavement.
