Helene S. Jahn was born on April 27, 1820. She passed away on May 29, 1893 at the age of 73 years, 1 month and 2 days.

She was married to Michael F. Jahn. To this union were born two sons, Wilhelm and August, and one daughter, Marie.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael in 1890.

Helene is survived by her children, namely: Wilhelm F. Jahn and August W. Jahn, and Marie Meinzer.

Burial was in the Lutheran Cemetery south of town.
