Stacyville – Mrs. Mary Stolzenberg, 97, died at the Mrs. John Basset Nursing Home at Manly Sunday of complications of age. The funeral was Wednesday at Johnsburg, Minnesota.

She leaves three sons; John, Stacyville; Nick and Peter, Austin, Minnesota; one daughter, Mrs. Lieu Ulwelling, Austin; 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She was born in Prussia August 22, 1851, and while a young girl came with her parents to America. She spent all her life in Johnsburg and Stacyville communities.

Mary Gansen was born August 22, 1851, the daughter of Leonard and Catherine Gansen. She married Karl A Stolzenberg.
