Funeral services for August Benker, 68, of Osage, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 2, 1982 at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, Osage, with the Reverend Joseph Nesheim and the Reverend Harold Larson officiating. Mr. Benker died Saturday, May 29, at Mitchell County Memorial Hospital.

Burial will be in the Grafton Cemetery.

Mr. Benker is survived by his wife, Melba; two daughters, Mrs. Don (Phyllis) Brandau, Orchard; and Mrs. Allen (Shirley) Tiedt, Waterloo; six grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Ann Boettcher and Mrs. Matilda Pruden, both of Red Cloud, Nebraska; and three brothers, John Benker, Red Cloud; Harven Bender, Hastings, Nebraska and Raymond Benker, Guide Rock, Nebraska.
