RICEVILLE MAN DIES SUDDENLY
HEART DISEASE FATAL TO FRANK SEAVY, 67, AT HIS FARM HOME

Riceville – Frank Seavy, 67 year old farmer, died suddenly of heart disease Tuesday morning.

Mr. Seavy, who had been in perfect health, went to bed as well as usual. He was heard up dressing and when he did not come down the family investigated and found him lying dead on the bed.

Mr. Seavy leaves his widow, three sons; Donald of Decorah; Gaylord of Riceville; Gilbert and one daughter; Hazel, at home.

FRANK SEAVY RITES HELD AT RICEVILLE

Riceville – Funeral services were held Friday afternoon for Frank Seavy. Services were conducted at the home by the Rev. E. Bodenham.

Relatives from away who attended the funeral were Ed Seavy from Denver, Colo.; and Mr. and Mrs. Lan Seavy of Albany, Ore.; Mr. and Mrs. Donald Seavy from Decorah; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Meinzer and family and Mr. and Mrs. George Meinzer of Charles City.

Frank Seavy was born February 10, 1875 in Illinois, the son of Rufus Seavy Jr. and Irene (Reynolds) Seavy. He married Charlotte Rose Meinzer, the daughter of Phillip Meinzer and Marie Dorothea (Jahn) Meinzer.
