Alexander “Alex” McCulla 1850-1934

RITES ARE CONDUCTED AT ST. ANSGAR CHURCH FOR ALEX McCULLA, 84

St. Ansgar, Oct. 6 – Funeral services for Alex McCulla, 84, were held Friday afternoon at the Methodist Church, the Rev. M. W. McKinly in charge. Interment was made in St. Ansgar Cemetery.

Mr. McCulla was born May 12, 1850, at North Gower, Ontario, Canada. On February 8, 1881, he was married to Ina White. To this union five children were born.

Surviving the father are Herbert McCulla of Mason City; Amy McCulla, at home; Mrs. Louis Muller of Chicago; and Mrs. Walter. E. (Vivian) Bramhall of Mason City; one brother; James McCulla of St. Ansgar; and one sister; Mrs. Sarah Kelly, Canada; and three grandchildren.
