LYLE MAN DIES IN AUSTIN MINNESOTA

Lyle, Minn. – Funeral services for John I. Johnson, 78, were held at Our Savior Lutheran Church here Thursday. The Rev. Stanley Klemesrud officiated with interment in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Mona.

John I. Johnson was born June 14, 1882, to Mr. and Mrs. Ingebret Johnson in Mitchell County, near Lyle. He died at Jacob’s Rest Home, Austin, Minn., where he had been cared for the last six years. On December 30, 1912 he was married to Mary Erickson. There were no children.

He is survived by a sister; Mrs. Ella Loughry, Seattle, Wash. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Mary, two brothers and three sisters.
