METZ, Janie Ann

Memorial services for Mrs. Michael M. (Janie Ann) Metz, 35, who died on Monday, July 29, 1985, at her home in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, will be Thursday, August 1, 1985, at West Lauderdale Baptist Church in Fort Lauderdale. There will be a cremation, with burial later in New York.

Mrs. Metz had been ill with cancer the past 18 months.

Janie Ann Penfold was born on May 22, 1950 in West Falls, New York, the daughter of Delores and Harold Penfold. She graduated from the East Aurora High School and was employed at Fischer Price Co. in Holland, N.Y. She was married to Michael M. Metz in December 1975 at United Methodist Church in Osage. The couple lived in the Osage area until 1977. They moved to St. Louis, Missouri and later to Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

She is survived by her husband, Michael; two daughters, Nikole Elizabeth, 8, and Michelle Alexess, 7; one son, Michael, Jr., 4, all at home; her mother, Mrs. William (Delores) Cudmore of East Aurora, N.Y.; three sisters, Jacqueline Penfold and Mrs. Larry (Jodey) Krezmien of Fort Lauderdale, and Janet Penfold of Hollywood, Florida; five brothers, John and James of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Jason of West Falls, N.Y., Justin of Bliss, N.Y. and Joel of Osage; and her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Penfold of Hamburg, N.Y.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Penfold of West Falls, N.Y.
