Plan rites for Merle Johnson

Funeral rites for a rural Orchard farmer, Merle Johnson, 67, will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. Mr. Johnson died June 22, 1980, at Mitchell County Memorial Hospital.

The Reverend Jack Cahill, pastor will be in charge of the rites at the United Church of Christ. Visitation will be from Tuesday noon until time of the funeral, at the Champion Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Osage Cemetery.
