Funeral services were held Monday [February 18, 1952] (at Visitation Church, Stacvyille) for Mrs. Joseph Wolf just two days after her son, Albert Wolf, was buried at Austin, Minnesota. Mr. Wolf died Wednesday, his mother died unexpectedly Friday.
Mrs. Wolf is survived by five children: Mrs. Clarence Anderson, Dyersville; Mrs. Clyde Hickey, Stacyville; Ralph, Stacyville; Joseph, Austin, and Charles, Montgomery, Alabama. All the children were present for the funeral as they had arrived previously to attend services for their brother.

Margaret (Thome) Wagner was born October 6, 1877 in Mitchell County, Iowa, the daughter of Peter Joseph Thome and Margaretha (Kohler) Thome. She died February 15, 1952.
She married Joseph Nicholas Wolf, the son of Peter Joseph Wolf and Margaretha (Seibert) Wolf.

#3:Mother Dies 3 Days After Death of Son.
Just three days after her son died, Mrs. Margaret Wolf, 74, of Stacyville died at her home following a stroke. She was in Austin MN at the bedside of her son, Albert, when he died Tues. Feb. 12, following a stroke. Mrs. Wolf died the following Friday.
Funeral services for Mrs. Wolf were held last Monday morning at Visitation church in Stacyville with the Rev. Victor Hintgen officiating. Burial was in St. Mary’s cemetery. Mrs. Wolf was born in Stacyville on October 6, 1877, to Mr. and Mrs. Peter Thome.
On October 6, 1896, she was married to Joseph N. Wolf of Stacyville. They spent their entire lives in Stacyville.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Clarence Adams of Dyersville and Mrs. Clyde Hickey of Waterloo; three sons, Charles of Montgomery Alabama, Ralph of Stacyville, and Joe of Austin; one brother Philip Thome of St. Paul; and 21 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three children and her husband.
