MRS. MORRIS, 79, SUCCUMBS
FUNERAL SERVICES TENTATIVELY SET FOR SUNDAY AFTERNOON

Osage – Mrs. Lucinda Morris, 79, died Friday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. A. Holliday where she had made her home for the past 18 years. She suffered a paralytic stroke about 10 days ago. She had spent most of her life in Mitchell County.

She is survived by the following children; Mrs. Holliday, Osage; Mrs. Rena Nicol, Palouse, Washington; Mrs. Ed Marvel, Wessington, S. Dakota; Roy Morris, Minneapolis, Minnesota; Ray, Mason City; Vern and Howard, Osage.

Funeral services will probably be Sunday afternoon at the Champion Funeral home in charge of the Rev. H. M. Grant of the Osage Methodist church.

Lucinda Belle Strickland was born February 6, 1861 in Iowa, the daughter of Ebenezer Strickland and Elizah (Sessions) Strickland. She married Abraham William Morris.
