MRS. M. LEWIS DIES AT OSAGE
RITES TENTATIVE

Osage – Mrs. Melbourne Lewis, 78, died Wednesday at the Mitchell County Memorial Hospital. She had been in failing health several years. Tentative rites are set Saturday afternoon with Champion Funeral Home in charge.

Born Agnes McGill, February 28, 1883, in West Lincoln Township she was a rural teacher before her marriage in 1905. The couple lived in West Lincoln until retiring to Osage in 1945.

Surviving are her husband, a son, Wellington, Orchard; a daughter; Mrs. William P. Jones, Ridgewood, N. J.; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Three sisters preceded her in death.
