MONA SERVICES FOR BERT SWENSON

Mona – Funeral services were held Thursday at the Mona Lutheran Church for Bert Swenson, 71. The Rev. Stanley Klemesrud officiated and burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. He died Monday at the Mitchell County Memorial Hospital, Osage.

The son of William and Bertha Swenson, he was born at Boscobel, Wisconsin in 1889. He was a veteran of World War I.

Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Josephine Havis, Brookfield, Missouri; a brother; W. B. Swenson, West Concord, Minnesota.
