C. BRENDEN, 78, DIES; FUNERAL RITES PENDING

Osage – Christopher Brenden, 78, died Monday morning at the Pringle Nursing Home at Nora Springs where he had been a patient for the past two years.

Funeral rites are pending at the Champion Funeral Home.

Mr. Brenden was born at Blanchardville, Wisconsin, in July, 1878. He came to Mitchell County in 1890 where he had lived since. He was a farmer and was unmarried.

His only survivor is a sister Olga Christiansen, Osage. Eight brothers and sisters preceded him in death.
