MRS. HEWITT OF RICEVILLE DIES
RITES HELD FOR WOMAN WHO SUFFERED APPENDICITIS AFTER OPERATION

Riceville, May 2. – Mrs. Mary Hewitt, wife of Ed Hewitt, died at the hospital in Cresco Thursday of acute appendicitis. Mrs. Hewitt underwent an operation for the removal of a tumor several days ago and while recovering from this operation suffered from appendicitis.

There are four children surviving, two in high school and two in grammar grades.

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon.
