RITES ARE HELD FOR MRS. CHARLES DOTY

Osage – Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Champion Funeral Home for Mrs. Charles Doty 76 years old, who died Friday night after a week’s illness. The Rev. Glenn Hartong of the Methodist church officiated.

Born in Mitchell, Etta Lunt was married April 2, 1891 in Waverly to Charles Doty, and they made their home in Clarksville until 38 years ago when they moved to Osage.

Besides her husband she is survived by two children; Mrs. Howard Morris of Osage; and Mrs. August Crites of Chatsworth, Illinois; two brothers; Ed Lunt of Grand Rapids, Michigan; and Walter Lunt; and two grandchildren.
Burial was made in the Osage Cemetery.

Etta Millie Lunt was born October 4, 1866 in Mitchell, Iowa, the daughter of Alden Lunt and Sarah (Williams) Lunt. She married Charles Brinton Doty, the son of Cyrus and Charlotte Doty.
