Committal services were held at the First Lutheran cemetery Wednesday for Oscar Havig, 80, who died following surgery at a hospital at Rochester, Minn. Funeral services were held at Albert Lea, Minn.

Mr. Havig was born and grew to manhood here. With the exception of a few years at Albert Lea, he spent his entire life in this community.

Survivors include the widow, a son and several step-children, besides brothers and a sister.
