PIONEER OSAGE RESIDENT DIESOsage – Funeral rites will be held Saturday for Louis Frese, 80, who died from a heart attack Tuesday at his home in Osage.
Services will be at the Champion Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m. in charge of the Rev. E. H. Yohr, and at 2 p.m. at the Trinity Lutheran church. Burial in the family lot, Osage Cemetery.
Surviving are 2 sons, Herbert and Albert Frese, both of Osage and 1 daughter, Mrs. Richard Ahrens, Osage.

Osage – Funeral rites will be Saturday for Louis Frese, 80, who died from a heart attack Tuesday morning at his home here, at Champion Funeral Home at 1:30, in charge of the Rev. E. H. Yohr, and at 2 p.m. at the Trinity Lutheran church. Burial in the family lot, Osage cemetery.Born in Germany, March 12, 1865, at Waldorf-Colbert; came to America alone at the age of 15; married Mary Wilk in 1888, and the couple made their first home in Lincoln township, later living in Cedar township, then retiring to Osage in 1916, where his wife died in 1938.
Surviving are two sons, Herbert and Albert Frese, both of Osage; a daughter, Mrs. Richard Ahrens, also Osage; five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
