MITCHELL COUNTY FARMER SUCCUMBSOsage – Funeral services were pending for Schuyler Ammon, 77, single, wh died at 11 p.m. Wednesday at the Cedar Valley Hospital following a cerebral hemorrhage. He was taken to the hospital Monday.
Mr. Ammon was born north of McIntire to Rufus and Emma (Austin) Ammon on June 17, 1874, and came with his parents to Osage when a small child.
In his earlier life he lived at Jewell, Estherville, then in Mitchell County where he formed a farm partnership with Hans Nelson which continued until 1931.
In 1932 he made his home with Mr. and Mrs. George Nelson at Brownville where he since resided.
