OSAGE WOMAN DIES AT HOME OF DAUGHTEROsage – Mrs. Fannie Fessenden, 81, lifelong resident of Mitchell County, died suddenly Friday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Matt O’Rourke, at Osage following a stroke. The body is at the Champion Funeral Home where rites are pending.
Her husband, Charles Fessenden also died on Christmas day in 1925 following a stroke.
Mrs. Fessenden was born September 21, 1872, to Charles and Emma Campbell in Rock Township. There she spent her girlhood and was married to Charles Fessenden September 28, 1891. They lived in Rock Township where Mr. Fessenden died.
For the next 10 years, Ms. Fessenden lived in Rock Township, then came to Osage where she lived until five years ago then she established a home with her daughter.
Survivors include four daughters; Mrs. O’Rourke; Mrs. Blanche Gelvine and Miss Florence Fessenden, all of Osage; and Miss Doris Fessenden, of Mason City; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a sister; Mrs. Alice Swift, Edgerton, Wisconsin.

LAST RITES HELDOsage – Funeral rites were held Monday at the Champion Funeral Home for Mrs. Fannie Fessenden, 81, lifelong Mitchell County resident, who died Friday at the home of daughter, Mrs. Matt O’Rourke.
Survivors include four daughters, three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and a sister.
