FUNERAL FOR MRS. PETERS TO BE MONDAY

Cornelia Elizabeth (Tibbits) Peters, 85, died Thursday at the home of her son, 1002 Pennsylvania N.E. She had lived in Mason City about five months, having moved here from Oelwein.

Mrs. Peters was born August 7, 1878, at Osage, daughter of George and Charlotte (Connor) Tibbits. She received her education in Osage schools and was married to Edwin Monroe Peters, April 27, 1896 at Spirit Lake.
She was a member of the First Christian Church at Lincoln, Neb.

Surviving is a son, L. E. Peters, Mason City. She was preceded in death by her husband, three sons and a daughter.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Major Memorial Chapel. The Rev. Glen Bandel, pastor of the First Christian Church, Osage, will officiate. Burial will be in the Osage Cemetery.

Friends may call at the chapel from 3 p.m. Sunday until the time of services.
