OSAGE RESIDENT DIES
PLAN SERVICES OF MRS. WRIGHT, 82

Osage – Mrs. Katie Wright, 82, died Thursday, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John (Emma) Pickering with whom she had made her home since 1923 when her husband died.

She is survived by her daughter, a granddaughter, Mrs. Ralph Lesch, and brothers, Garrett Jurrens, Charles City; William Jurrens, Miami, Florida; and stepson, Fred Wright, Osage.

Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at Champion Funeral Home in charge of the Rev. Mr. Grant of Osage Methodist Church.

Katie Jurrens was born July 25, 1857, the daughter of William and Albertine Jurrens. She was the 2nd wife of Giles Thomas Wright 1840-1923. Her birth date from tombstone and parents from 1925 Iowa Census.
