MRS. JAMES DURYEA FUNERAL SERVICES TO BE HELD SATURDAYOsage – Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Shelledy funeral home in charge of the Rev. Stiles Lessly of the Congregational Church, for Mrs. James Duryea, 83, who died at her home Wednesday afternoon following several weeks illness.
She was born in New York State. Her husband died about a year ago.
Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Will Cooper of Osage.
Burial will be in the Osage Cemetery.Mason City Globe Gazette, Friday October 17, 1941

Jane Tweedie was born December 1857 in New York, the daughter of Samuel Tweedie and Abagaie Gampol. She married James Young Duryea, the son of James Duryea Sr. and Keziah Godfrey
(the parents are from the 1925 Iowa Census; her birth date from 1900 US Census).#3
