FORMER MARSHAL DIES AT OSAGE, RITES PENDING

Osage – George Gulliver, 85, city marshal here many years, died Wednesday morning at the Osage Nursing Home. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at the Champion Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Osage Cemetery.

Born June 26, 1877. in Osage, he was the son of George and Margaret Gulliver. He was married to Anna Pierce of Osage, who died in 1950.

Surviving are five children; Mrs. Edna Blandin, Osage; Mrs. Howard (Helen) Lack, Orchard; Lloyd, Orlando, Florida; Mrs. Frank (Laura) Zenix, Clearwater, Florida; Mrs. Clarence (Evelyn) Overturf, Cartersville, Illinois; 11 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
