George Lashbrook 1859-1935

George Lashbrook, 76, died unexpectedly at the Black Hawk County home at 9 A.M. Wednesday, of a heart attack.

Originally from Osage, Ia., he came to Waterloo about 10 years ago, and lived at the county home for the last four years.

He was born April 1, 1859 at Mitchell, Ia., and was married at Stacyville, Ia., 46 years ago to Ella Estes.

Surviving are a daughter Mrs. Carl Jensen, farm resident north of Waterloo; a son, Gersham Lashbrook, Osage, druggist; a sister, Mrs. Charles Cummings, Osage; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

The body was taken to the Hurley & McDonald funeral home."
