RAY ROWEOsage – Ray Rowe, 75, died Thursday morning at the Mitchell County Memorial Hospital. Funeral arrangements are set tentatively for Saturday afternoon at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. Champion Funeral Home is in charge.
Born September 29, 1887, at Curtis, Nebraska, he was the son f Rose and Garrett Rowe. The family came to a farm near Floyd when he was 2.He was married to Tena Nelson, December 21, 1911. They had spent their entire married life in Mitchell County and retired to Osage 20 years ago.
Surviving are his wife, five sons; Earl, Marble Rock; Lester, Osage; Paul, Cedar Rapids; Clyde, Denver, Colorado; Alan, Port Orchard, Washington; a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Marvel) Kubicek, Osage; 16 grandchildren, a great-grandchild, two sisters, Mrs. Opal Savre; Osage; Mrs. Leona Miller, Albert Lea; a brother, Fay Rowe, Charles City.
