ST. ANSGAR, IOWA — Mrs. Clara Elizabeth Ries, 70, died at the home of her granddaughter, Mrs. Joe Beyer, near St. Ansgar.

She was born at Wilburn, Illinois. She lived in Rockford, Iowa, vicinity for 30 years. She leaves four sons: Ernest of Floyd, Delbert of Centerville; Vernon of Kasson, Minnesota; and Adrian of Rockford.

Funeral, 2:30 p. m. Sunday in the Methodist church here; burial in St. Ansgar Cemetery.

Clara Elizabeth Rediger was born March 27, 1870 in Illinois, the daughter of David Rediger and Mary Jane Duchesne. She married Otto Ries, the son of August Ries and Mary Bluel.
