FUNERAL OF DuSHANE, 73, IS HELD AT OSAGE

Osage, April 11. – Funeral services for George DuShane, 73, who died at his home Monday afternoon, were held at his home Wednesday afternoon conducted by Dr. S. E. Ellis of the Methodist Church.

His wife and two sons, Elon and Alan survive.

Mr. DuShane was born in Wisconsin and prior to coming to Osage a few years since lived on a farm west of Mitchell.

George Lancaster DuShane was born in October 1860 in Rock Co., Wisconsin (1900 Census: , the son of John M DuShane and Rebecca (Lancaster) DuShane. He married Julia Elmira Hylden.

He is buried in the Osage City Cemetery
