EDNA M. PINT
OSAGE, IOWA - Edna M. Pint, 88, of Osage, died Friday, February 1, 2002, at Faith Home in Osage.
Edna (Cockrum) Pint was born Dec. 3, 1913, near Hartwell, Missouri, the daughter of David and Maud (Dawson) Cockrum. In 1923 the family moved to Mitchell County and lived near Mitchell, later moving to Little Cedar, where she graduated from high school in 1932.
On May 8, 1935, Edna married John A Pint; he died in September 1987.
Her funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Osage, with the Rev. Philip Recker officiating. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage, with a scripture service at 7 p.m.
Edna is survived by a daughter, Barbara Omlor and her husband, Noel, of Columbus, Ohio; four sons, John D. Pint and his wife, Barbara, of Mitchell, Larry Pint and his wife, Bonnie, of Osage, Ronald Pint and his wife, Connie, of Osage, and Fred Pint and special friend, Shirley, of Garland, Texas; 12 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
Edna was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John A. Pint, in 1987; infant daughter, Irma Jean Pint; five brothers; one sister; and a son in-law, Frank Smith.
