DIES AT MITCHELL

Mrs. Charles Ritter died Tuesday at her home in Mitchell after a lingering illness. She was 70 years of age.

She was born Anna Mary Kennedy on November 20, 1873 in Landisburg, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Nathaniel and Elizabeth Kennedy. When she was three years old, the family moved to Odebolt, Iowa, then to Sac City where she spent her girlhood.

She was married to Albert Fleuhr in 1894 and to that union six children were born. Her husband died in September 1903.

In December 1906, she married Charles W. Ritter at Virgil, South Dakota. Two children were born to that union, Elmer and Florence, now Mrs. Lewis Griga. They lived in Virgil for two years, then returned to Sac City where they lived until 1928, when the family moved to Mitchell.

She leaves to mourn her death her husband and the following children: Minnie, Mrs. Herman Hillmer of Sac City; Ethyl, Mrs. Anton Kochar of Omaha; Maude, Mrs. Harold Burnette of Paw Paw, Illinois; Helen, Mrs. Frank Mayo of Lytton, Iowa; Elmer of Orchard, Florence, Mrs. Lewis Griga, 19 grandchidlren and three great-grandchildren. Also a sister, Mrs. Will Rohn of Sac City and a brother, Silas Kennedy of Cherokee.

Funeral services will be held today at 2:30 at the champion funeral home in Oasge. Burial will be in the Mitchell cemetery.
