OSAGE, IOWA — Services for Mrs. Stella Henderson, 95, former resident who died early Thursday at a Mason City hospital will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Conner Colonial Chapel in Northwood; burial in the Osage Cemetery.

Survived by one daughter, Mrs. Mollie Walker of Los Angeles; one son, Maurice of Northwood, and two grandchildren.

Stella Irene Knapp Henderson (1874 - 1970)

Stella Irene Knapp was born on 05 Oct 1874 in Burr Oak (Osage), Mitchell Co, Iowa, the daughter of Edward Augustus Knapp and Emily Worseldine.

She married Mr. Burton Irving Henderson in 1899 in Osage, Mitchell Co, Iowa, the eldest of four children born to Charles W. Henderson and Lura Ann Walker.

Stella and Burton had two children: Mollie B. and Maurice B.

Burton died on 03 Mar 1938 in Osage, Mitchell Co, Iowa. Stella never remarried, remaining a widow for over thirty years, dying on 15 Feb 1970 in Osage, Mitchell Co, Iowa; aged 95y 04m 10d.
