Laurald D. "Lars" Halverson

McINTIRE, IOWA - Laurald D. "Lars" Halverson, 59, died Friday (July 4, 1997) at the Mitchell County Regional Health Center in Osage.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Hutchins Funeral Home in LeRoy, Minn., with the Rev. Barbara Finley-Shea officiating. Burial will be in Bethany Cemetery in rural LeRoy.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and prior to services at the funeral home.

Laurald D. "Lars" Halverson was born Oct. 21, 1937, in Dundee, Illinois.

Survivors include one brother, Glen Halverson, of Marengo, Illinois.

He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister.
