Mary McCarthy "Carty" Egan

Mrs. Mary Egan died September 13, 1900. Mrs. Egan had lived here a number of years and had many friends who are bowed in sorrow by her death. She was the mother of our townsman William Egan.

A number of relatives from Charles City and other places were in attendance at the funeral which occurred at Sacred Heart Catholic Church last Saturday.
