Marr Funeral to Be
in Riceville Church

OSAGE, IOWA — Peter Marr, 70, died at his farm home four miles east of New Haven Monday after a two years illness.

Mr. Marr was born September 5, 1871, on the farm on the farm on which he died. Except for two years spent in Riceville he had lived his entire life in the same community.

He was married to Margaret Murphy 45 years ago.

Surviving are his widow and five children: Lloyd and George Marr and Mrs. Matt Kelley, all of Riceville; Mrs. Carl Widholm and Mrs. A. Wynnemer of Minnesota. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at the Catholic church in Riceville and burial will be in the Riceville [Calvary] Cemetery.
