RITES TO BE SATURDAY FOR PROMINENT FARMER

Stacyville – Funeral services will be held Saturday morning for John Blaser who died Tuesday night at his farm home east of Stacyville after a long illness. The Rev. J. G. Schmitz of Sacred Heart church at Meyer, will officiate at 9 o’clock mass.

Surviving are his wife and 10 children. Two sons, Roger and Richard, are in the service overseas.

John Blaser was born March 15, 1881 in Minnesota, the son of Joseph Blaser and Barbara (Smith) Blaser. He married Anna Maria Blake, the daughter of John Adam Blake and Suzanna (Hemann) Blake.
