Ann M. Milbrandt, 76

A memorial service for Ann M. Milbrandt, 76, of Rochester, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 28, 2011, at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes. Inurnment will be at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes and also one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Ann Marie Haehn was born on Jan. 15, 1935, in Meyer, Iowa to John and Martha (Cummings) Haehn. Ann died April 24, 2011, at Rochester Methodist Hospital.

Ann graduated from High School in Adams and married Robert Milbrandt on June 12, 1954, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Adams. Ann worked in the pathology lab for Mayo Clinic for a number of years and later stayed at home to raise her children. Later, she again worked for Mayo Clinic as a lab technician, retiring in 1991. Ann enjoyed square dancing, reading, knitting, crocheting and her flower garden. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Milbrandt of Rochester; son, Robert J. (Monica) Milbrandt of Eagan, Minn., daughters, Susan Milbrandt of Rochester and Laurie Wilkemeyer of Owatonna; son, Chris (Cindy) Milbrandt of Rochester; eight granchildren, Jacob (Jennifer) Wilkemeyer, Christopher (Erin) Milbrandt, John Wilkemeyer, Michael Milbrandt, Jeremy Wilkemeyer, Megan Milbrandt, Matt Milbrandt and Katie Wilkemeyer; three great-grandchildren, Braiden Wilkemeyer, Ashton Wilkemeyer and Alexis Wilkemeyer; brother, Robert (Margie) Haehn of Racine, Minn.; and sister, Bonnie (Lawrence) Monson of Albuquerque, N.M.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
