FIVE SERIOUSLY INJURED AND EIGHT OTHERS HURT OVER WEEK-END IN IOWA.
Philip Gartner, 25, son of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Gartner of Stacyville, suffered a broken back when the car in which he was riding struck loose gravel two miles east of McIntire Sunday night and was damaged. Others in the car were not seriously hurt. Gartner was rushed to Rochester for treatment.
