Mrs. S. A. (Sarah) Butts died at Farmington, Minnesota, last week and her remains were brought here for burial. She was the mother of Alfred Truesdell of this city.

For the past twenty years, Mrs. Butts has been a professional beggar and had made a good living by appeals to charity in many towns of the state. She always returned from her expeditions with a well filled purse. Her credit at the local stores was excellent for when her debts grew too large to be met with cash on hand, she would make a trip and from the proceeds of her begging, would mail money orders to all those whom she owed.
