Ida Boone

A former Osage resident, Mrs. Ida Boone, age 93, of Cedar Falls died Saturday, February 13, at the Windsor Care Center in Cedar Falls.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Champion Funeral Home with the Reverend Jack Cahill of the United Church of Christ officiating at the service. Burial was in the Osage Cemetery.

Mrs. Boone is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Gordon (Ella Ruth) Hendrickson of Minneapolis; two sons, Elmo, Cedar Falls; and Leonard, Chicago, Illinois; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Edna Hayes and Mrs. Cynthia White, both of Winter Park, Florida; and one brother, Alva Balsley, Otranto.
