ST. ANSGAR WOMAN DIES AT GRAFTON; FUNERAL FRIDAY

St. Ansgar – Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Beyer, 73, will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the home of Mrs. Julius Beyer and at 2 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Beyer went to Grafton Tuesday afternoon for a visit at the home of her brother, William Nack. After her visit there she decided to call on her sister-in-law, Mrs. William Kanzenbach, and had been at her home only about 10 minutes when she suffered a heart attack. She died before a physician could arrive.

Mrs. Beyer was born April 26, 1879 in Rock Township, Mitchell County to Daniel and Amanda (Kirchgatter) Nack. She was married to Emil Beyer at Grafton December 13, 1900. Her husband died in 1947. Since that time Mrs. Beyer lived at the home of Mrs. Julius Beyer, a daughter, at St. Ansgar.

She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Beyer and Mrs. Edwin Schulz, of Sauk Center, Minn., sons, Lawrence of Ogema, Minn.; Clarence of Richwood, Minn.; and Ernest and Alvin, of West Fargo, N. D.; and two brothers, William Nack of Grafton and Henry Nack of Austin, Minn.; and a sister, Mrs. Albert Heise of Detroit Lakes, Minn.; and 21 grandchildren.

Yes her daughters married name was also Beyer. Mrs. Julius (Laura) Beyer, daughter of Emil and Anna (Nack) Beyer married Julius Beyer, son of Albert and Martha Beyer.
