WIFE OF ATTORNEY AT OSAGE DIES FOLLOWING THREE MONTHS’ ILLNESS

Osage – Mrs. W. J. Tyrrell, 62, died late Tuesday afternoon at her home after three months’ serious illness.

Mrs. Tyrrell was born at Janesville. She was married to Mr. Tyrrell 40 years ago and they lived at Riceville until 10 years ago when they moved to Osage.

Survivors include her husband, an Osage attorney, and five children. They are Mrs. Harriet Reardon, Waterloo; Mrs. Donald Clark, Orchard; Donald Tyrrell, Carroll; and Mrs. Merrill Kelley and Scott Tyrrell both of Osage.

MRS. W. J. TYRRELL, 62, DIES AT OSAGE FOLLOWING ILLNESS

Osage – Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Methodist church in charge of the Rev. H. M. Grant for Mrs. W. J. Tyrrell, 62, who died Tuesday afternoon at her home after a three months serious illness.

Surviving are her husband and five children: Mrs. Harriet Reardon of Waterloo; Mrs. Donald Clark of Orchard; Mrs. Merrill Kelley and Scott Tyrrell of Osage; Donald Tyrrell of Carroll.
Burial will be in the Riceville Cemetery.

Hannah Bertha Smalling was born January 5, 1879 in Janesville, Iowa, the daughter of Dorance K. and Harriet Smalling. She married Willard Joseph Tyrrell, the son of Samuel and Mary Tyrrell.
